Andrzej Sapkowski is now a well-known writer who has managed to merge a fantasy adventure with some elements of Polish folklore. Thus it was born The Witchera series of novels with Geralt of Rivia as the protagonist which was then taken over by CD Projekt Red, a video game studio also with a Polish origin.
And the work done by CD Projekt Red has been mammoth, divided into three games – at least for now, waiting for The Witcher 4 and all the other spin-offs – which exude love for the world created by Sapkowski. Fans have repeatedly praised the video games released so far, which have often been GOTY during their release years and are still being praised today repurposed with next-gen versions. All those characters, who don’t know when or if they will return, are remembered with their original versions but not only.
Do you remember Ciri in samurai version in this statuette? Well, the Ciri Japanese version everyone liked it a bit, since it portrays the character in very different clothes and which usually always generates fascination in the western public. Yellow kimono, the sword becomes a katana, in his hands he doesn’t have the head of a monster from The Witcher but one that looks a little more like a Japanese oni. Well, cosplayer Hikka remembered that version of the character.
Thus this was born Ciri samurai cosplay with katana and kimono, ready to slice even the monsters of this alternate universe. A simple photo that highlights the quality of the dress with floral ornaments and the care taken to replicate this Ciri, very different from the usual.
