Company VK announced paid internships in various areas of the IT field, from development and design to information security. This year there will be two sets: spring and summer. And for the next one, which starts in April, applications are already open. The reception will last until February 26.
Those wishing to take an internship can send applications for several specialties at once. Candidates can choose both a direction and a team. The selection will take place in several stages, which depend on the chosen specialty. Among them are online testing, video interviews, and performing test tasks. The final qualifying stage will be interviews with representatives of the future team.
Internships will be held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod. The format and schedule depend on the project, and the duration of the program is five months. It is noted that the internship will take from 20 hours per week during study hours and about 40 hours per week during the summer months. The best students will get a chance to enter the VK staff.
The company also held internships last year, although they were less extensive. According to Anna Stepanova, director for educational projects and interaction with VK universities, according to the results of last year’s internships, approximately 70% of interns got a job in the company.
