For some time Microsoft is working to strengthen environmental sustainability with its products: in this perspective, for example, the energy saving revolution of Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One should be seen, an initiative well received by the public and professionals.
Not everyone, however, welcomes these interventions by the Redmond giant, and on the contrary there are also those who accuse Microsoft of making environmentalist propaganda and “woke” to children and younger players. This is what was claimed in a broadcast by FOX Newsan American broadcaster truly known for not espousing environmentalist and progressive policies, conducted by Ainsley Earhardt and in which the journalist took part Jimmy Faillawho in criticizing Microsoft’s initiative indulges in a controversial comment.
“They are trying to involve your children in environmental policies from an early age”, this is Failla’s thought also shared by the presenter, according to whom “they are targeting children” with these initiatives. According to Earhardt, moreover, “Xbox has announced that it has moved towards woke ideologies due to climate change” with these changes to energy saving, expressing together with Failla its opposition to Microsoft’s latest moves in the gaming field.
According to the Redmond company, getting energy savings on Xbox will be like planting new trees, thanks to the update that will make its consoles “carbon aware”.
