We have been hearing about a OnePlus tablet for several years now. The first elements that appeared in December 2021 suggested a launch in the first half of 2022. Then nothing. Last March, concrete information on its production had leaked… then nothing.
We have to go back to November 2022 for the very first OnePlus tablet to be talked about again. At the time, PhoneArena expected the upcoming OnePlus Pad to actually be a rebranded Oppo Pad. As a reminder, Oppo is considered the big brother of OnePlus. Countless synergies remain between the two Chinese brands.
The doubt is almost lifted
This time, OnePlus itself is subtly giving us news of its tablet… through a teasing image highlighted by Android Authority. The image in question raises the sauce around the February 7 event, where the OnePlus 11 will be shown, already introduced in December for the Chinese market.

Beneath the OnePlus 11 and the Buds Pro 2, a strongly tablet-like device seems to loom despite its translucency. In the idea, there is no longer much room for doubt. And that may make sense given the many hallway noises we’ve heard over the past two years.
A growth market
Also, the tablet market has made a strong comeback since Covid-19: positioning itself in this niche with new products is therefore tempting for brands. Xiaomi, for example, succumbed to it with its Pad 5, when Oppo also entered the race with its Oppo Pad and Oppo Pad Air – only the Pad Air was released in France.
So far, no serious leaks have revealed technical details about the OnePlus Pad. Even if, as specified above, similarities with the Oppo Pad could be there. See you in any case on February 7 to discover all the new features.
