01/27/2023 at 8:41 p.m. by Thilo Bayer – Last chance to participate: The year 2022 has begun and we want to use a larger survey to find out which hardware you are most interested in and which components you have bought or want to buy . At this point, a heartfelt thank you for your participation.
The past year 2022 was once again packed with new products. In fact, there has hardly been a year in PCGH history with more major GPU and CPU launches. Three new generations of graphics cards, two new generations of CPUs: that doesn’t happen often. However, there were not only new products and platforms, but also a price shock. High asking prices, high inflation, high energy costs: they just don’t go together. And so many retailers were left with the products, AMD and Nvidia had to adjust the RRP in some places or, as in the case of the RTX 4080 12GB, start again. 2023 is unlikely to offer as many high-end products as 2022, but we definitely don’t expect boredom. Ryzen 7000X3D alone in February means pure excitement.
Reason enough to ask about the current upgrade plans and to get a feel for them as part of a comprehensive annual survey. Based on the knowledge gained from this, we can optimally adapt our reporting to your needs – and you benefit from that, after all. All questions are optional, so you can leave out a question at any time. And even if there are a comparatively large number of questions: Take the unique opportunity to improve our reporting and our tests by participating.
Thank you in advance for your time investing in our survey.
The questions not only aim to sound out the status quo of your PC and your components, but also to consider purchase requests. For example, we are interested in which platform or brand you are targeting. Are there any changes here compared to previous years? In light of price trends and inflation, are you simply using your graphics card longer? Which cooling do you rely on? How much money do you spend on your PC? Which manufacturer is your next graphics card or CPU from? These are just some of the questions we would like an answer to. And don’t worry: we will evaluate the results of the survey, use them in our tests and share the exciting findings with you.
