OTXO, developed by Lateralis, is a chaotic top-down shooter completely rendered in black, white and red. The game seems to follow the style of Sin City, with only certain things (such as copious amounts of blood) being colored. The game will be available on April 20 on Steam.
In OTXO, you play as a man with amnesia who can’t remember his name, but storms the mansion because at least he remembers that he needs to save a missing/kidnapped girl. You can also use the slow motion mechanic to pretend to be Max Payne while mowing down enemies. With “over 100 purchasable abilities” and “a plethora of unlockable weapons”, you’ll be able to wreak havoc in the rogue-lite genre.
At the moment, we only know that OTXO will be released on PC, but the announcement on Twitter at least mentions that a console release is to be confirmed.
