Award-winning Dutch violinist Tim Kliphuis has created an entirely new style that spans classical, manouche jazz and folk. Hailed as a “modern-day improviser Paganini”, with an inclusive and innovative approach to music that unites audiences and influences a new generation of string players.
A sought-after educator and best-selling author of Gypsy Jazz Violin, Tim is a professor of string improvisation at the Amsterdam Conservatory and director of the jazz summer school Manouche Grappelli-Django Camp.
