Last year, Road 96 was added to the Game Pass subscription. The project about a road trip and the desire to hitchhike out of the country received good responses from the players, and it was even praised by the head of Microsoft Gaming Phil Spencer.
DigixArt today unveiled Road 96’s prequel, Road 96: Mile 0. The game is out April 4 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Switch and PC.
In the prequel, players will meet characters familiar from the games of DigixArt studios – these are Zoe from the original Road 96 and Kaito from the game Lost in Harmony. According to the plot of Road 96: Mile 0, Zoe becomes close to Kaito and a strong friendship develops between them. This friendship with Kaito reveals to Zoë a disturbing truth about her country and even her own father. From the story, players will learn what caused Zoe to run away from home, as well as the events that began the story told in Road 96.
Road 96: Mile 0 promises a rich, narrative-driven gameplay experience.
