Mydrivers has published a ranking of the 20 best-selling mobile phones in history. Most of the list is occupied by devices from Nokia.
More than half of the list is occupied by mobile phones from Nokia, which were released before the era of smartphones. iPhones follow. Looking at the top ten devices, phones from Apple and Nokia split the list in half.
Nokia 1100 topped the list with 250 million sales. The mobile phone has only been on the market for 5 years, so the company averaged 1 million units sold every week. Apple’s best-selling smartphone is the iPhone 6. Along with it, the top ten includes the iPhone 6S, 5S, 7 and 11. The list also includes the Samsung E1100 and the Motorola RAZR V3.
