Publisher PQube and developers from Spain’s Petoons Studio (My Friend Peppa Pig) have announced the exact release date for their rat-killing adventure platformer Curse of the Sea Rats.

As it became known, Curse of the Sea Rats will go on sale on April 6 this year for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch.
The release date announcement for Curse of the Sea Rats was accompanied by a one-minute gameplay trailer. The video introduced the bosses that the heroes will have to face – for example, a terrible hybrid of a rat and a spider.
According to the plot, a witch turns four British prisoners into rats. To return to human form, Douglas, Buffalo, Akane and Bussa must fight their way through fearsome bosses, uncover the secrets of Ireland’s coastline, and capture the sorceress.
They promise a large-scale non-linear world, four characters with a unique fighting style, local co-op for four, hand-made two-dimensional animation and text translation into Russian.
