The PC version of the psychological thriller Loretta will be released on Steam, GOG and other major stores on February 16, publisher DANGEN Entertainment and developer Yakov Butuzov announced. Versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch will come later.
Loretta is a psychological thriller that will make the player an accomplice in the heroine’s crimes and lead her through a nightmare of her own creation. This is a story about a woman who survived infidelity, her husband’s infidelity, relationship problems and a difficult social situation in the 1940s.
Conceptually and aesthetically, the game is inspired by American art of the 20th century, the works of Andrew Wyeth and Edward Hopper, film noirs of the 40s and 50s, thrillers by Alfred Hitchcock, Philip Ridley’s film “Mirror Skin”, books “1922” by Stephen King and “Lolita” by Vladimir Nabokov.
