Oddly enough, it wasn’t just the launch of Fire Emblem Engage that caught the attention of Nintendo enthusiasts. The new JRPG of the Kyoto house was in fact at the center of a strange controversy that involved Brandon McInnisvoice actor of the game’s protagonist, e GameStop.
Through a Twitter message viewed by more than a million users, McInnis revealed that didn’t have an easy life in finding the Divine Edition of Fire Emblem Engage, as the point of sale to which he addressed had unfortunately run out of stock:
“Lol GameStop just called me to tell me that I won’t be able to receive my copy of the Divine Edition of Fire Emblem Engage because the company has started pre-orders without guaranteeing stocks. And I voiced the protagonist of the game.
Fortunately, this singular affair had a positive outcome. Before long, McInnis is finally managed to buy the limited edition of the Nintendo title at an Ebay reseller, pace GameStop.
Either way, it’s not hard to believe that JRPG copies of the big N were snapped up so easily. In addition to having considered a excellent response by international critics, the new Fire Emblem conquered the podium of the best-selling titles in Japan last week, confirming the great public appreciation for the production.
