Big City Lab has announced the upcoming release of Welcome to Goodland, an addictive strategy and adventure game that will be released on Steam on April 28, 2023. On this occasion, the team released a new trailer. The game will also take part in the Steam Next Fest and receive a demo in early February.
In Welcome to Goodland, players will find themselves in a small peaceful town where they will have to navigate the dangerous world of money laundering. The player’s task is to make strategic decisions, acquire and expand businesses, and find reliable allies. But as they rise through the ranks and gain power, they must also answer whether they can maintain their humanity in this cutthroat world.
Gameplay features include the following:
Plan carefully and acquire businesses to advance your shady operations. Keep a delicate balance between reputation in the police, where crime gangs and other gangs occur in order to avoid betrayal. Make choices with far-reaching consequences, because there is no perfect solution. Fight corruption and rise through the ranks within the cartel, seeking help from the FBI or finding another way to ensure security and independence.
