John Carpenter, historic director and icon of horror cinema, has once again praised Dead Space, referring in this case to the Remake signed by EA Motive. That the director admired Isaac Clarke’s adventure is nothing new. Carpenter has repeatedly praised Dead Space, also throwing the rumor that in Hollywood there would be a deal for a live-action adaptation where, mind you, he would not fill the role of director.
In any case, Carpenter congratulated the guys at EA Motive for the work done with this Remake, calling it both exhilarating and terrifying. “EA’s Dead Space remake is an exhilarating and scary game. Great game!” Carpenter writes on his Twitter profile. A Tweet that, we are sure, will make the guys at EA Motive proud who have worked on this project with so much passion and dedication.
In the meantime, we recall that Dead Space Remake has amazed critics and the public thanks to a truly high quality level. We are not dealing with a Remake that only improves the visual aspect of the game, but profoundly modifies its mechanics. The level design has been expanded and designed to facilitate backtracking. These differences can be noted in the analysis of ElAnalistaDeBits and especially, in our review by Alessio Filippelli.
The game is also a resounding success on Steam, with over 25,000 active players on Steam and simultaneously.
E.A.’s refurbished DEAD SPACE is exciting and scary. Great game!
