For Honor’s newest heroine, Afeera, arrives February 2nd. For Honor can also be played for free from February 2nd to February 9th.
Ubisoft announces that For Honor’s newest heroine, Afeera, will be released on February 2nd. The Afeera from the Arabian kingdom are armed with a mace and a shield, which they will use to fight with precision and grace in the arenas of For Honor. In addition to revealing the heroine and the second title update, For Honor announced a Year 7 during the livestream.
At the start of Year 6 Season 4, Commander Ravier destroyed the celestial sphere in hopes of using their knowledge to conquer Heathmoor. All is not lost – Hiba, an Afeera, is able to repair the relic and sees a partial vision of the prophecy: Heathmoor’s descent into darkness.
Determined to stop the Black Priors and this bleak future, Hiba leads the Afeera to Heathmoor. They are equipped with a mace and a shield, giving the Afeera an advantage in any combat scenario, as long as players can utilize their precise strikes. The Afeera are the third Outlander hero class, following the Pirate and Medjay.
Starting February 2nd, players can purchase the new Afeera heroine as part of a bundle for €7.99. In addition to the new heroine, this includes an exclusive helmet decoration, elite armor, seven days of champion status and three leftover chests.
Players can also unlock the heroine in-game on February 16 for 15,000 Steel. Additionally, a free event pass containing a battle outfit, effect, and helmet ornament will be available upon the heroine’s release.
Coinciding with the heroine’s release, For Honor will be free to play for a week from February 2nd to 9th on PlayStation, Xbox and Ubisoft Connect. During the free week all have full access to the standard edition of For Honor. If you want to continue fighting after the free period and buy the full version, you can take over your progression and heroes.
On February 14, For Honor celebrates its sixth anniversary. To celebrate the occasion, an execution animation will return to the game and all players who log in between February 9th and February 16th will be rewarded with an elite set of armor.
Year 7 will bring four action-packed seasons with two new heroes, four new hero skins, four battle passes, events and more. More details about Year 7 will be announced soon.
