Ashes of Creation is definitely one of the most promising MMORPGs in development and Intrepid Studios has released a new gameplay video. As the developer heads towards the game’s second alpha test, this time we’ll take a closer look at what the game will offer for those who love to play as tanks. If you enjoy protecting your comrades and being an impenetrable wall in front of your enemies, Ashes of Creation certainly has a lot to offer.
There’s also plenty to see as the video is nearly fifty minutes long and also features a plethora of comments from the developers explaining what we’re seeing, led by creative director Steven Sharif.
The video shows battles with fairly tough undead enemies, culminating in a boss fight against Lord Oakenbane. After the battle, we also get a preview of the armor he drops, which, unsurprisingly, is oak-styled and looks very elegant.
Ashes of Creation has been in development for quite some time after a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2017, raising nearly $3.3 million from nearly 20,000 users.
Alpha 2 is supposed to have most of the game systems and features that players will be able to test, but there is no exact date yet.
