Illumination Entertainment, Nintendo and Universal have surprisingly released a new teaser for Super Mario Bros. The Movie, it’s about a clip lasting 30 seconds which features the extended version of a scene seen in the second trailer for Super Mario Bros The Movie released last fall.
We refer to the sequence he sees Mario and Donkey Kong fight in Smash Bros. style along a beam suspended in the air, thus recalling the setting of the 1980s video game Donkey Kong. In this alternative version of the scene, however, there is a surprise, or rather two, for the first time we can hear the voice of Seth Rogen in the role of the gorilla, but not only because we also witness the entry onto the scene of Cat Mario, i.e. the famous cat costume that first appeared in Super Mario 3D World for Wii U.
Thanks to this new clip we therefore have an almost complete picture of the entries of Super Mario Bros. The Movie: Chris Pratt interpreta Mario, Jack Black plays Bowser, Anya Taylor-Joy voices Peach and Seth Rogen plays Donkey Kong. Super Mario Bros. The Movie toys were recently unveiled, including a giant fire-breathing Bowser statue complete with smoke from his mouth and light effects.
