343 Industries continues to fall apart. Today’s news is the departure of Kiki Wolfkill, head of transmedia and entertainment for the Halo franchise. Apparently, the leader did not completely abandon Microsoft, so she was not fired, but changed her position. She has been with 343 Industries since 2008, almost from the very beginning of the development studio.
Wolfkill made her debut as an executive producer on Halo 4 before spending eight years in that role. She recently oversaw the launch of the television series Halo.
The news of her departure comes after a string of bad news for 343 Industries, with the studio hit particularly hard by Microsoft’s recent wave of layoffs.
