Union Berlin have officially announced that the transfer of the Spanish midfielder Isco failed. The reasons are not named, but, according to media reports, the 30-year-old Spanish midfielder failed a medical examination at a German club.
“We would love to have Isco with us, but we have our limitations. Today they were exceeded contrary to previous agreements, so the transfer will not take place, ”said Union Berlin sports director Oliver Ruhnert.
As such, Isco remains a free agent. His contract with Sevilla was terminated at the end of December.
