Directed by James Gunn, who has recently directed DC Studios together with Peter Shafran, spoke about what awaits fans of the universe DC in the near future. We learned about ten new projects, both new and continuing the popular series.
The first chapter of DC Studios film projects has been titled “Gods and monsters”, and all projects in it will exist in one common universe. Their heroes will be Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and lesser known characters, including Swamp Thing.
The studio will release five feature films in the coming years, some of which we have already heard about: “Superman: Legacy(Superman: Legacy), written by James Gunn, is due out on July 11, 2025, but doesn’t have a director yet; “authorities(The Authority) will be a sequel to The Legacy and introduce a group of new superheroes; “Courageous and bold“(The Brave and the Bold) will introduce a new Batman and Robin, who will now turn out to be the son of Bruce Wayne; “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow“(Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow) will tell about Superman’s cousin, Kara Zor-El; “Swamp Thing” (Swamp Thing) will tell about the origin of the character in the language of a horror thriller.
