Every week we inform you in our rumor mill about supposed leaks, speculation and reports from the gaming industry. While Ubisoft made exciting headlines last week with a list of all the games planned for 2023, this week the focus is again on the French company, among other things. In addition, there is said to have been a leak around the planned Horizon multiplayer from Guerrilla Games. Far Cry 7 split into two games?
Two Far Cry titles are currently in development at Ubisoft. In addition to Far Cry 7, there should also be a separate multiplayer game, which was probably once planned as part of the seventh part. This project should work conceptually similar to Escape from Tarkov, for example. The American state of Alaska should serve as the setting for both titles. The release window for the two games is currently 2025.
Horizon multiplayer gameplay leaked?
Very early footage of a Horizon multiplayer has recently surfaced. The material comes explicitly from an early version of Horizon: Forbidden West, which landed on the internet some time ago. In addition to different characters, the graphic style, which is much more reminiscent of cartoons than other Horizon titles, catches the eye. Apparently, given its position in the Forbidden West alpha, the implementation only served as a proof of concept for a multiplayer title.
