On Wednesday, February 1, a friendly match will take place between Donetsk Shakhtar and Slovenian Maribor. The match will be held in Belek (Turkey), on the field of the Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort stadium, starting at 16:30.
The adventures of Igor Jovićević’s team continue at the training camp in Turkey, and the next opponent of Shakhtar Donetsk will be the multiple Slovenian champions Maribor. Dynamo Kyiv (0:2) had an unfortunate acquaintance with the Violet not so long ago, and the Pitmen’s youth team may well tell about their experience of confronting this opponent (1:1). The Slovenians have been working at the training camp for quite a long time, as the resumption of their championship is just around the corner, and therefore they will be expected to have better shape than the Donetsk team. Moreover, exactly one day ago Shakhtar played a difficult match against the Bulgarian Ludogorets (2:2).
