An unavoidable name in Portuguese music, Carminho returns to Casino Figueira for a special Easter night.
The menu, created by Chef André Rolo, focuses on traditional flavors inspired by the festive season, always with the touch of originality that he has accustomed us to:
Cream of carrot and parsnips with dehydrated ham
Goat and serpão terrine, black pudding with textures of roasted apple and wild arugula
Cod loin in an almond and dehydrated pumpkin crust, broccoli and potato fondant
Abade de priscos pudding with egg yarn, peanut praline and tangerine ice cream
“Portuguesa” is the sixth album of Carminho’s career and features 14 compositions, several with lyrics and music by him, among other authors. The composer and performer assumes the production of the album as well as the composition of original traditional fados. Seeking to deepen her thinking on fado, Carminho explores various combinations within the canons, rethinking form and moving like a fish in water that is her own. The graphic work was once again handed over to Giovanni Bianco.
Carminho is recognized by the general public, national and international media, and with numbers on digital platforms that reflect the dimension of notoriety of the Portuguese artist.
