Among the main novelties arriving with Season 2 of Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 we certainly have the map of Ishika Island, which will be the scenario for the new Return mode of the free-to-play shooter.
After the great success of Rebirth Island in the first version of Warzone, Activision will allow everyone to enjoy amore frenetic and less diluted experience compared to the classic Battle Royale mode in Al Mazrah map.
L’Ashika Island it is part of a small archipelago in an undisclosed location in the Asia Pacific region. According to a post on Activision’s official blog, the island may harbor harmful weapons shipped from a suspected biolab facility featured on the Al Mazrah map. THE points of interest include the Ōganikku Farms, Town Center, Beach Club, Tsuki Castle, Port Ashika, Residential and Shipwreck. The map was created for the return of Resurgence mode, but will also be an additional infiltration option for the DMZ mode.
Previously scheduled to launch earlier this month, Season 2 of Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare will arrive on February 15th. The new season will introduce numerous new content including new multiplayer maps, game modes, weapons and Ranked mode. There will also be some gameplay changes, including the reintroduction of the 1v1 Gulag and a radical change to the loot system.
