In the first round, a Ukrainian duet with Makoto Ninomiya from Japan outplayed the tandem Alyona Fomina-Klotz / Elsa Jaquemot (-/France), who received a wild card from the organizers.

Note that Fomina-Klots was born in Sevastopol and until 2017 represented Ukraine.
In the quarterfinals, Nadezhda and Makoto will face the duo Ana Bogdan / Danka Kovinic (Romania / Montenegro).
