02/01/2023 at 11:00 a.m. by Susanne Braun – It took the developers of Pokémon Go around a month and a half to show all players the switch function for the inventory layout from a list to a much clearer grid. Why the wait? Only the people at Niantic know that themselves.
Happy for all Pokémon Go trainers who have had to wait what feels like eons before they can convert the inventory in the mobile pocket monster hunt to a grid layout! As the Niantic developers announced via the Niantic Support Twitter, the switch option has now been released for all Pokémon Go players.

This means that when you call up the inventory, you can use a switch in the top right to choose whether you like the previous list view or whether you prefer the somewhat clearer and orderly grid view, which roughly corresponds to the view from the Pokémon collection.

Why so long, Niantic?
However, why it took about a month and a half to activate this inventory view for all trainers is probably only known by the Pokémon Go developers themselves. Because the trainers who have been seeing the switch since mid-December 2022 have been able to do so in the past Weeks do not recognize any noticeable changes in the display or in the sorting.
What the hell. There are enough trainers out there who are just getting started with the new inventory view and are likely to appreciate this small but nice goodie. By the way, the next wish of the players is to increase the overview of the avatar items. Furthermore, the lag with the last asset update (APK 0.261) should be so blatantly noticeable in the game, some trainers report that it is to be hoped that eF-eM will remedy the situation by Community Day. Whether that will happen is of course up for debate, because the last update, in which the developers recommended downloading all assets for a “smooth” gameplay, actually had the opposite effect.
