As Epic Games and the developers of Iron Galaxy Studios announced, the second season of the Free2Play title “Rumbleverse” will also be the last. Due to the lack of success, the servers will go offline at the end of the month.
In cooperation with the publisher Epic Games, the Iron Galaxy Studios published their new project “Rumbleverse” in August last year.
In terms of gameplay, we were dealing with a representative of the Battle Royale genre that relied on brawler elements and was offered in the form of a Free2Play title for consoles and PC. After corresponding rumors have already been circulating this week, the official website of “Rumbleverse” now reveals that the second season of the Free2Play title will in fact be the last.
Due to the lack of success, the “Rumbleverse” servers will be taken offline on Monday, February 28, 2023 at 5 p.m. our time.
Users get their money back
According to official information, players who invested money in the Battle Pass or the in-game currency “Brawlla Bills” in the last few months will get their money back. More details on the refunds will follow shortly, according to Iron Galaxy Studios. Later in the statement, the studio thanked the community for their support and announced a final update that will be released later today.
“Iron Galaxy Studios and Epic Games are very sorry to announce that Season 2 will be the last for Rumbleverse. This project was a labor of love to create a new experience in a popular and highly competitive gaming genre. If you’ve been a part of this journey, we thank you – whether you jumped into the first playtest after our reveal or shot yourself out of the cannon for the first time,” that’s the official statement.
