Samsung today, of course, did not limit itself to the flagship flagship Galaxy S23 Ultra, and also introduced the Galaxy S23 and S23 + smartphones. New items have smaller dimensions than the Ultra model, and also cannot boast the same 200-megapixel camera. But they still offer special processors, brighter screens and more capacious batteries compared to their predecessors.
The base model Galaxy S23 has a 6.1-inch display, while the larger Galaxy S23+ has a 6.6-inch panel. In both cases, these are AMOLED memories with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels and a brightness of 1750 cd / m2 – the predecessors offered only up to 1300 cd / m2. According to Samsung, the new screens adapt better to different lighting conditions. They are protected from damage by the latest Gorilla Glass Victus 2 glass.
The basis of the Galaxy S23 and S23 + was a special version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip platform with factory overclocking. The maximum clock speed of the Cortex-X3 core has been increased from the standard 3.2 to 3.36 GHz, while the frequency of the Adreno 740 GPU has been increased from 680 to 719 MHz. In the minimum configuration, the Galaxy S23 still offers 128 GB of flash memory, while the Galaxy S23 + has at least 256 GB of storage. The base model is also available with 256 GB of flash memory, and for the S23 + – with 512 GB. In all cases, it offers 8 GB of RAM.
