Moroccan midfielder Hakim Ziyech was supposed to move from Chelsea to PSG in the last hours of the January transfer window.
The clubs agreed on everything and even signed the necessary documents for the transition, but could not send them for registration on time.
L’Equipe reports that Chelsea sent incorrect Ziyech documents to PSG on three occasions, with deliberate errors.
The Parisians accuse the London club of negligence and will file a complaint with the French Football Federation to investigate such behavior of the London club. PSG leaders will ask the league (LFP) to make an exception and register Ziyech.
Hakim Ziyech has made 15 appearances in all competitions this season without scoring goals. He led Morocco to 4th place at the 2022 World Cup.
The 29-year-old Moroccan has a contract with Chelsea until the summer of 2025. The web portal Transfermarkt estimates the transfer value of the player at 20 million euros.
