Definitely, tonight is the night of bad news! After Netflix unveiling the many rules to prevent account sharing and Sony announcing that the PlayStation Plus Collection offer will soon end, it’s Microsoft’s turn to make a sad announcement.
In less than a week, either From February 7, a total of 45 games will be withdrawn from sale on the Xbox 360 store, starting with many classics comme Assassin’s Creed III, Dark Souls, Far Cry 2, Lost Odyssey, Skate 2, Jet Set Radio ou encore The Witcher 2.
From February 7, 2023, a set of games (…) will no longer be for sale through the Xbox 360 store. These titles will no longer be for sale only on the Xbox 360 store. Games that can be purchased on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S Stores will remain so. You will still be able to play previously downloaded discs or games on your Xbox 360 and modern consoles if they are backward compatible titles.
One more little problem
If the news does not seem so worrying at first, especially since the announcement indicates that this only concerns the Xbox 360 store, note all the same that ”’ certain productions, however backward compatible, are only available on the Xbox 360 store. All games withdrawn from sale
As you have understood, to recover these games, all you have to do is reconnect your old machine before February 7, 2023. The titles in your possession can of course be installed and used after this same date.
