Warzone 2 tip news: Everything we know about Ashika Island, the Resurgence map coming in season 2!

Season 2 of Warzone 2 should have been launched today, but following a postponement, it will still have to wait a few days. Activision is taking advantage of this additional time to tease us with what’s to come in-game, including the next Resurgence mode map, Ashika Island!
Ashika Island is the next map in Resurgence mode!
When Call of Duty Warzone 2 released, quite a few fans were surprised, but also disappointed to realize that there was no Resurgence mode. In effect, it was a very popular mode from the first opus, even more so following the release of Caldera which was a hated card.
But beyond the fact that it was hated, it was above all so prone to bugs that players had no other choice but Resurgence mode. So the fact that he was not present when the game was released angered some fans. Activision then reassured them that a Resurgence map was indeed planned..
But since then, we hadn’t necessarily had any news and we were asking ourselves questions. Was Rebirth Island, for example, going to make a comeback? Well, we got the definitive answer recently and it’s a brand new map that will land, Ashika Island. Moreover, Activision started by teasing us this map, revealing to us that it would be in Japan.
What to expect ?
We were then promised more information the next day and that’s exactly what happened! In fact, the first big piece of information that was given to us was quite simply the map of Ashika Island with all its points of interest indicated on it.
It is therefore a triangular map which seems to have a relief in the center. This is where Tsuki Castle will be located, which should be one of the hottest spots on this new map. But the surface is not the only place where you can fight.
It was also revealed that the map will have many tunnels under the ground that players can take, which will give a new dimension to the game! There therefore remains just have to wait until February 15 to be able to test this map in Resurgence and DMZ mode!
