The developer of Hollow Knight and the highly anticipated sequel, Silksong, would already have another title in the works. This is demonstrated by the registration of a new trademark for a video game called ‘Fearless Fox’.
This would be revealed by the official page of the Australian government regarding registered intellectual properties, which would demonstrate how the team recently updated an IP already registered in 2019. ‘Fearless Fox’, first registered in 2019 as simply “Computer game software“, is now in fact registered in 3 other categories, which would make it fall within a plethora of products such as “games”, “computer discs” or, again, as “entertainment systems”.
There are no other news or information about this project, but this recent update would suggest a possible new title after the release of Silksong. The title, a sequel to the acclaimed Hollow Knight, would now be around the cornerand there is no doubt that part of Team Cherry is now perhaps engaged in a pre-creation phase of a new game!
In the meantime, remember that the highly anticipated Silksong, of which traces have been lost for now, will make its debut on both PlayStation 4 and Playstation 5. Sony confirmed this a few months ago! The title should finally make its release in 2023given that during his last appearance a year ago now, the studio had confirmed that the title would be released within the next 12 months.
