As mentioned earlier, the developers have temporarily closed the MMORPG with elements of the Fractured Online sandbox. It is not yet known when the servers will be back online, but the team hopes it will happen in March. The game is currently not available for sale on Steam.
By shutting down the Fractured Online servers, Dynamight Studios intends to bring various improvements to the game. Since the announcement, they have already done internal testing, where over 10,000 monsters have moved around the same continent to simulate player activity without restarting the server. Another stage will be held in the near future.
The developers were going to share information about the future of Fractured Online, which they talked about in the last announcement, but “unforeseen problems” prevented them from doing so. However, we are promised that we will not have to wait long for news.
