Already presented by the Activision team, the Ashika Island map of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is arriving within the free to play set in the universe of the shooter series.
Located in the heart of the Pacific, the new location is also known as “Sea Lion Island” and appears to be a crossroads of international intrigue. In the narration proposed by the development team, Ashika Island it is in fact used as a basis since Konni ultranationalist grouptraffic manager of chemical and biological weapons. The latest updates on the location also indicate that the Shadow Companywho would have tacitly taken control of the island.
The new map of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, introduced by the trailer available at the beginning of this news, will debut with Season 2 of the battle royale. Strongly inspired by feudal Japan, Ashika Island also marks the revival of Return mode within the multiplayer shooter. Characterized by seven points of interest major, the map alternates Tsuki castle with residential areas and the extensive commercial port. There is also no shortage of decayed tourist areas, from the beach club to the city center. The great reefs surrounding Ashika Island also sealed the fate of two massive cargo ships, which now lie wrecked along the coast.
