Oddity after oddity, this seems to be the impression that most of us get when talking about the MMO Survival game that had sparked hype on Steam – The Day Before. Appearing stunning in its first teaser, this game was actually accused of being a hoax product because of the lack of gameplay that they released closer to the original release plan. The peak occurred a few weeks ago, when the release of this game ended up being postponed for an unreasonable reason – the struggle for the name rights to “The Day Before” which the developer – Fntastic forgot to register as a trademark all this time. The good news? He now at least has a bright spot.
Fulfilling the promise they had previously made, the same promise that had been withdrawn due to the previous name battle, Fntastic finally released the 10-minute gameplay of The Day Before. It shows a bit of exploration, shooting action against zombies, to the process of crafting and customizing weapons. Instead of building hype, this gameplay video actually provoked more criticism. The visual quality is not as good as the first teaser, the number of zombies is so small for a “survival” game, that the shooting action that doesn’t look satisfying is the highlight of the new gameplay.
