Famous promoter Frank Warren confirmed the date of the fight between WBC heavyweight belt holder Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and WBA, WBO and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs).
“The fight will absolutely take place on the last Saturday of April. I sincerely believe that we will determine the venue for it within the next six or seven days, no more.
If we cannot arrange what we were asked to do for Tyson and Usyk in Saudi Arabia, then the fight will take place in the UK. I don’t think we’re far from where we need to be,” Warren said.
Earlier, another promoter, Eddie Hearn, expressed doubt that this fight would take place in April.
