Desktop analogues of the mobile GeForce RTX 3060 with 3840 streaming cores and low frequencies have already surfaced in the Chinese market. They did not have any advantages over conventional desktop graphics cards, other than a lower TDP.
But there are GeForce RTX 3060 with 3840 streaming cores and higher frequencies. Obviously, such video cards will be faster than the original version. Only due to a larger number of computing units, their potential is 8% higher. The Boost Clock frequency for such versions has been increased to an average of 1850 MHz instead of the standard value of 1777 MHz. The graphics cards are equipped with 12 GB of GDDR6 14000 Gb / s memory. According to TechPowerUp, similar variants were developed by Dell, HP, ASUS, MSI and many other well-known companies. But real samples were released in a small edition, mainly for OEM systems.
