Fulfilling the promises made by Avalanche Software a few weeks ago, now Hogwarts Legacy it’s officially a game Verified per Steam Deck.
The confirmation came a few hours ago from Chandler Wood, the studio’s community manager, who published a post on Twitter where he shared the Hogwarts Legacy compatibility sheet with Steam Deck.
If you don’t know what we’re talking about, the Valve team tests the games on Steam Deck and, based on the outcome of their exams, marks them with three different stamps: “Verified” indicates that the game is perfectly compatible on Steam Deck; “Playable” means a title that may have limitations or require adjustments by the user to play; while “Not supported” identifies a game that is not compatible with the console in various respects.
Hogwarts Legacy has precisely obtained the “Verified” status, which means, as indicated in the post above, that all features and game interface work perfectly with Steam Deck and also from the point of view of performance the console -Valve’s PC should allow you to enjoy the game in a more than decent way, despite the high system requirements.
Hogwarts Legacy will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC from February 10, 2023 and from February 7 thanks to the 72-hour Early Access guaranteed by the Deluxe Editions. Subsequently the title will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One on April 4th and on July 25th on Nintendo Switch.
