A few days ago it became known that dozens of games will soon disappear from sale in the Xbox 360 Digital Store. Among the projects that will not be available for purchase, there are quite a few interesting ones, and the Xbox team recommends that you buy these games on your account if you still want to have access to him access in the future.
On February 2, players noticed a message on the support page that the Xbox 360 store was about to close. According to information posted on the official Xbox resource, the Microsoft team plans to “close the Xbox 360 Marketplace within the next year,” and players were advised to “purchase any games for Xbox 360 or DLC by May 2023.”
When players took notice of this message, a few hours later, the Xbox team officially denied it:
This message was posted in error and we can confirm that the Xbox 360 Store will not close in May 2023. As a reminder, as of February 7, 2023, limited games, add-ons, and in-game content will no longer be available for purchase in certain regions through the Xbox 360 Store.
