Did you take advantage of the sales to treat yourself to a brand new TV? Orange also has something for you to take full advantage of with its Livebox fiber and ADSL offers with 6 months of free Netflix, all from 31.99 euros per month for one year.
The current trend is not for low prices on the side of mobile operators and internet boxes. However, it is not impossible to make good deals and it is Orange who proves it to us this weekend. The operator has just relaunched its fiber and ADSL offers with the addition of a 6-month Netflix subscription (standard version) for Livebox Up and Max subscriptions.
What do these Fibre/ADSL subscriptions from Orange offer?
Up to 2 Gbit/s in shared download and 800 Mbit/s in upload speed (Max Fiber Livebox) Orange TV on connected TV or with 4K Ultra HD decoder (on request) Low price for one year with commitment subscription to Netflix Standard for 6 months
Until April 5, 2023, the Livebox Up Fiber (or ADSL) offer is 31.99 euros per month for one year and then goes to 49.99 euros per month. The Livebox Max Fiber (or ADSL) offer is at 36.99 euros per month for one year and then goes to 54.99 euros per month Note that these offers are subject to a 12-month commitment and entitle you to a subscription to Netflix Standard for 6 months then €13.49/month for any new subscription.
The best fiber in France at the best price
If competition from incumbent operators is ever stronger, Orange remains the sure bet as far as the speed of these offers is concerned. This time, the incumbent has decided to highlight these more advanced offers with this good plan. The Livebox UP offer gives access to a 2 Gbit/s FTTH fiber line for downloading and 600 Mb/s sending, enough to take advantage of ultra-fast internet for all your uses: downloading, streaming, home automation, etc., without any loss of quality. It’s the same thing with the Livebox Max Fiber offer, but it goes up to 800 Mb/s in sending.
Note, however, that these offers include different Liveboxes. The UP Fiber offer entitles you to a Livebox 5 while the Max Fiber offer entitles you to a Livebox 6 and its famous Wi-Fi 6E.
Triple Play: Internet, TV and fixed telephony
This fiber offer does not only include an internet line since Orange adds a fixed telephone line to this with unlimited calls to fixed telephones in mainland France, the overseas departments and more than 100 destinations abroad.
Finally, icing on the cake: Orange does not neglect the TV offer and offers a catalog of 160 channels, some of which are 4K UHD compatible, but above all the supply on request of a TV decoder which is also 4K compatible. You even have the possibility of consulting these channels from your smartphone or tablet via the dedicated application or more recently from your connected TV, in particular thanks to Samsung.
VOD services like YouTube, Netflix and others are also accessible from the box. That’s pretty good, since with this offer, you won’t have to pay an extra euro for 6 months for a Netflix subscription, which is offered as a standard subscription.
How to change your operator to Orange?
If you want to switch to Orange fiber, be aware that the operator will pay the termination costs for your old line up to 150 euros. Termination of your old line is also fully supported while keeping your landline number. All you have to do is provide your RIO code without any further intervention on your part. You should also know that the installation of Fiber in your home is entirely carried out by the operator.
