In the current annual report, Sony Interactive Entertainment pointed out that from now on the company will be concerned with convincing PS4 users to switch to the PS5 as quickly as possible. An undertaking that is being tackled with a small marketing campaign, among other things.
After the PlayStation 5 had been struggling with supply shortages around the world for more than two years, Sony Interactive Entertainment recently announced that the console is now available for nationwide purchase.
A development that led to Sony Interactive Entertainment lowering the sales forecast for the console in the fiscal year 2022/2023 (April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023) from 18 to 19 million units shipped increased. As it says in the current annual report, Sony Interactive Entertainment is not just about getting completely new customers excited about the PlayStation 5 in the coming months.
In addition, now that the PS5 is available without any supply shortages, the Japanese company wants to speed up the transition of existing PlayStation 4 customers to the PlayStation 5.

Finally, the video briefly discusses the advantages of the current Sony console – including features such as 3D audio or the exclusive functions of the DualSense controller, which ensure an even more intensive gaming experience.
