The Last of Us Part 1 is officially coming to PC via Steam and the release date was announced a couple of months ago and was set for March 3rd. But today, Naughty Dog announced the postponement of the release date to the end of March – they explained their decision by saying that the project needs additional polish and that they want to present the game in the best possible quality. The new release date is set for March 28th, and they promised to share details about the PC version in the near future.
The PC port of The Last of Us Part 1 is based on the PS5 and PS3 remake of the original game of the same name. This means it comes with all of the remake’s improvements, which means plenty of accessibility options, improved exploration and combat, and the inclusion of The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC.
Naughty Dog is yet to reveal details related to porting the game to PC. We expect it to feature Ultra-Wide Monitor support like other ports of PlayStation games, as well as PC-standard graphics tweaks, and more.
