February 4th, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. by Valentin Sattler – The release of the PC version of The Last of Us Part 1 has been delayed: Naughty Dog cannot release the game on March 3rd, but needs until the end of the month. On March 28th it should finally be time for players to be able to enjoy The Last of Us on the PC for the first time.
The first The Last of Us is almost ten years old: the game was released for the Playstation 3 in June 2013, finally for the Playstation 4 in July 2014 and for the Playstation 5 in September 2022. You could do the action without a Sony console -Adventure haven’t played yet, but that’s about to change. It has been known since last December that the developers at Naughty Dog finally want to publish the PC version of the game this March.
end of the month instead of the beginning
The PC version of The Last of Us Part 1 (buy now) was originally supposed to be released on March 3rd, but this release date apparently cannot be met. Yesterday, the developers published a statement on Twitter announcing the postponement. Accordingly, The Last of Us will not go on sale until March 28th.

The exact reasons for the postponement are not broken down. Instead, the talk is that the developers want to release the game in the best possible condition. Translated, this should mean that the PC version of The Last of Us Part 1 still has technical problems at the moment and that the developers need more time to fix them.

Naughty Dog, on the other hand, does not provide any more precise details, such as whether gameplay bugs or performance problems are the cause. In any case, it is to be hoped that the postponement will give the developers enough time for the PC version to be stable by the time it is released at the end of March. Because a buggy launch version would hardly do justice to the good reputation of the game.
