A recent leak suggests that players will not be spending all of their time in Tevinter. From the new gameplay trailer, it’s clear that at least one quest will take players to Weishaupt, the home of the Gray Wardens, located in the Anderfels region, which was previously unexplorable in the games of the series. This directly alludes to the ability of players to explore the lands outside of Tevinter, as in Inquisition.
The footage shows how the new hero fights the creatures of Darkness in Weishaupt along with his comrades. From the previous leak, it also became clear that the player’s base will have portals to other locations, which will allow easy movement between regions and locations. However, it is worth noting that the sensations from the video are such that there will be elements of “hack’n’slash” in the game
It’s still too early to say if the game will have an open world like Inquisition, as no official videos have been released from the developers. BioWare has yet to comment on these recent leaks.
