, BANDUNG – After officially stopping Apex Legends Mobile and canceling the release of Battlefield Mobile, EA is reported to have also canceled the game codenamed Titanfall Legends, a single player game set in the Titanfall and Apex Legends universes. This decision is believed to follow disappointing financial results for the company this quarter.
The Canceled Game Had the Codename Titanfall Legends
According to Bloomberg, the single player game that was reported to be canceled has the codename Titanfall Legends. The game is predicted to be a unification of Titanfall and Apex Legends characters in one universe. In fact, it is also believed that the game will become a standalone campaign in Apex Legends.
The game’s development team reportedly has 50 members. Game designer Mohammad Alavi is believed to also lead and direct the game. Unfortunately, Alavi left EA in early 2022. EA is now helping other members to become other jobs in the company. Anyone who does not get other roles will be laid off and receive compensation.

Leaked Details! Reportedly Inspired by Doom Eternal
Jeff Grubb and Jan Ochoa discussed the news on the Game Mess Mornings podcast. Grubb has a lot of insider info about the game codenamed Titanfall Legends. He gave information about the game, especially the story and characters.
“Titanfall Legends is not Titanfall 3, because many people actually think Titanfall 3 will be a new standalone game with a single-player campaign and a multiplayer mode. They can’t do it anymore after Apex Legends changed the calculus of everything,” Grubb responded.
Titanfall Legends is said to feature characters from Apex Legends
According to Grubb, the single-player adventure game will feature Kuben Blisk, Apex Games commissioner at Apex Legends, as a playable character. Several other Apex Legends characters are said to appear and lend their respective strengths to player characters. Important locations from the Titanfall franchise such as The Ark will also play a big role in the campaign.
He called Titanfall Legends as a whole inspired from Doom Eternal in terms of content and gameplay. Plus, Grubb said the development team wanted to make the concept of “John Wick meets Tony Hawk” so players can be more active and use their abilities more often.
So far, Respawn Entertainment has refused to comment on reports of the cancellation of Titanfall Legends.
