According to Chinese insider Uncle A, a character that looks like a cat girl will appear in Genshin Impact at some point. The character, which has not yet been leaked, is expected to be associated with Fontaine, the game’s next major region.
According to an insider, the seemingly unnamed character resembles a mixture of Diana from the group A-SOUL with the character Pardofelis from Honkai Impact 3rd, another miHoYo game.

It is stated that the new character will wear a very short skirt, otherwise there are not very many differences from the heroine of Honkai Impact 3rd. Other features of the Fontaine Catgirl are not mentioned.
Thanks to the January leaks, we’ve already seen several characters linked to Fontaine – including the alleged Archon Hydro. Probably, these heroes will be officially announced only in a few months.
Fontaine will appear in Genshin Impact with Update 4.0 and will not be released until August 2023 at the earliest.
