Despite the fact that the great cinematographic sagas allow the vast majority of the actors who participate in them to live very well for years, economically speaking, on many occasions they also cause serious problems in their personal lives because of the uncontrolled fandom, as the actor of the Twilight saga, Taylor Lautner, was able to verify.
Now practically disappeared from the public eye, the actor has visited the Entertainment Weekly podcast, The Toast, where he has confessed having spent a decade almost without leaving home because of anxiety that caused him to be recognized on the street. “I’ve been years without almost leaving my house, and if I did, he would put my sunglasses on, the cap and I was almost scared…”.

“Something began to grow inside of me, I didn’t realize it, but I was really scared to leave the house. It caused me a lot of anxiety so I didn’t go out”. Lautner perfectly remembers the moment when he went to a supermarket again without being recognized, “I felt free”, although he admits that losing that bit of fame he had could also be dangerous for the mental health.
“At the time of Twilight I was frustrated because all I wanted was to live a normal life. But When you don’t have that kind of fame anymore then you start to wonder, “Don’t people care about me anymore?”. When fame goes away, even a little, you realize it and it’s very dangerous because you start playing with your mind,” the actor acknowledged.

“Jacob was pretty annoying”
Although at the time the Twilight saga was shot, Taylor Lautner was very fond of his character, Jacob Black, now that he sees the films in perspective, admits that the character was not very charming.
“Now when I watch the movies, I get it. Jacob is quite annoying. Let’s see, I love Jacob and I know he has a big heart, but he’s pretty annoying,” the Twilight actor acknowledged.
