The fans of DC Extended Universe are more than satisfied with the new information offered by James Gunn about the restart that he intends to carry out in the coming years with chapter 1 of his project under the name of Gods and Monsters.
Although everything indicates that the films and series presented have a good reception, it seems that the way that Gunn has to inform about these changes and the opinions about Hamada’s work these last years have not sat well with some leaders of Warner.
This is how the Hollywood Reporter wanted to communicate it, where it has been speculated that Gunn’s comments harshly criticizing the previous directors and people involved in the DCU did not like anything.
From his way of explaining everything through Twitter, to the way he “fired” Cavill: all these events have caused some of Warner’s thinking heads to have not welcomed the arrival of both filmmakers a DC Studios.
While the shapes may have been somewhat of a shock, Gunn constantly communicating with his audience is a good sign that he listens to his audience and, above all, keeps informed first hand to all the fans about the new updates of their franchise.
There is still plenty of time to see how good this DC Extended Universe will be, but seeing the desire and ambition that Gunn has in his project, we are sure that they will try do the best job possible to surprise us with new ways of entertainment.
