Yandex confirmed information about the upcoming opening of the office. “This office will be focused on teams that need to be in the country to develop services in the local market,” the press service of the IT company said.
It is worth noting that Yandex already had an office in Istanbul – it was opened in 2011 in parallel with the launch of a branded search service in Turkey. However, in September 2020, the Turkish office of the company was closed – it was decided to work with Turkish partners from the head office in Russia as part of a strategy to change work during a pandemic.
According to official information, Yandex offices are located in 20 Russian cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, and there are also many offices abroad: in Minsk (Belarus), Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan), Lucerne (Switzerland), Amsterdam (Netherlands). ), Shanghai (China), Newburyport (USA), as well as in Israel and the Czech Republic.
