Due to home office and quarantine, Among Us has experienced a second (or rather first) spring in the last two years. The game was actually released in 2018, but due to the unexpected success, the developers seem to be under pressure. This at least suggests a roadmap for 2023 that Innersloth has published. So they have some plans for the coming months.
Even though Among Us’ big boom has died down, the hunt for the traitor is still very popular. The success certainly came as a surprise to the developers of Innersloth, after all the game was first released in 2018. But with a large number of players comes great responsibility and the game company is well aware of this. Judging by the 2023 roadmap, there are quite a few plans for Among Us in the coming months.

For example, the user interface is attacked. It should be revised so that you can find your way around better, report unfair players faster and find your way around the store better. But of course that doesn’t mark the end of the changes, Innersloth also wants to turn the actual game.
So much in advance, exact dates for the updates are not mentioned. But you can be happy that a fifth map is currently in production. Of course, it should come up with lots of little details and Easter eggs. Innersloth is also redesigning Among Us matchmaking to help you connect with other players more quickly.
New quick chat options are also to be implemented for heated discussions or wild insults. Of course, they also consider the feedback from the fans and implement appropriate options. You can also look forward to fresh collaborations with other games and brands. However, the developers don’t even give us a small teaser of what to expect.
Either way, they have a lot planned. So we can be curious when the changes will be published. Other ideas include an improved friends list and new roles, but these will only be implemented if there is time.
